In March 2022, Astrea received a visit from reporters from the RIC RURAL TV program to record a story about the plant, its technologies and the preservatives used during production.

Astrea now processes poultry by-products exclusively for Lar, the new owner of the poultry rendering plant in Marechal Candido Rondon.
