At the end of November, Astrea was visited by Staff from the equipment company, Hasrslev along with two representatives from the company Argentinian company Fadel S.A, Lisandro and Hipar.

On the 4th and 5th of November 2023, Astrea's annual staff end of year get-together was held, a couple of days of fun, rest and interaction between the staff members who all put in a big effort during the year, ensuring that Astrea had another excellent year.

October 19, 2023, Astrea was visited by representatives from the Nuffield Poultry Research Group (United Kingdom) The group travel annually to various countries with the aim of increasing their knowledge about poultry industries around the world, in addition to maintaining and increasing their international contact base.

On September 13, 2023, Astrea staff attended the “International Meat Business, Processing and Industrialization Fair” – MERCOAGRO, in Chapecó, which is in the state of Santa Catarina.

Astrea always keeps its staff training up to date, especially regarding Health and Safety. This photo was taken during training on working at heights and in confined spaces.

Astrea team members took part in the ABRA (Brazilian Rendering Association) training event held in Campinas in the State of São Paulo in October. The initiative ABRA AATQ (“Here there is quality”), is a training event to upskill rendering industry professionals in Brazil.

On September 17th  and 18th, 2022, Muriel Dourado, the son of Valdir Dias Dourado (an Astrea employee), participated in the 9th Brazilian Mixed Style Karate Champioships (CBKI) in the city of São Paulo.
